One of the reasons I do not have a cam or a mic on this computer is because what works for me can also work for a hacker. A skilled hacker can activate your mic and cam without you knowing it. Did you just change your cloths in front of your computer… while it was still on?
Anyway, it is great that this person was able to catch the thief though.
Not too many sleazebags are worse than hackers, in my book anyway, but thieves are definitely one or two step worse than someone who just snoops into other peoples lives vicariously through their computers… like peeking into someone’s window.
But then again, a hacker who takes, or copies, someone's personal data from their computer is also a thief. I would even go as far as to say that a hacker who takes files from someone computer is guilty of breaking and entering as well as stealing.
