do not always take your dreams at face value. our conscious and deep minds and souls have a weird way of speaking to us at times. the only way that happens is with drama and pictures in dreams. being such a dream yogi I am I have learned many things from the dreams and the mind. you and your mind are capable of some powerful dream states at times and can travel to places and times, yes I said times. Sometimes you will even remote view in dreams or have some vivid lucid dreams.
My suggestion is this , do not ever be scared of a dream. it is not always the emotion of the dream that qualifies at substantial.  write down your dreams and see if you can make them progress and change or just see if they do on thier own. mostly they will and you may get out of it something you never instended or forsaw.

I think I am turning into Marsha Brady...  Does that count as a nightmare?

I had a dream last night about Davey Jones

The funny thing was that it is a "now" Davey Jones... not the not the young Davey Jones that I used to have the crush on when I was 10.

He did a favor for me... and I honestly can't remember what it was ... though it had something to do with my nieces and a car.  It was all rather bizarre, as dreams usual are.  Anyway... I did get to hug Davey Jones at the endand to meet the other "old" Monkees so it was all worth it.

I was watching some Monkee videos recently so I'm sure that had SOMETHING to do with it but once again the fact that Davey was old was strange.  I guess I didn't want to feel like a cradle robber in my dream.

It was all very strange... but it did have me laughing when I woke up.

I guess celebrity dreams are the norm. Last night I dreamed of Anthony Bourdain, the No Reservations guy.

I had one of 'usual' nightmares: I was checking out the boards, when I was suddenly noticing many of my various friends posting directly to me (I know it was to me because all the named posts read,'Walter HELP'!
As I read them; they were all saying the same basic thing, let me illustrate-

One was from a person living in Chicago, pleading to me to send help for some odd illness that hit her town (including her). She said everyone was very VERY ill and were dying. Her last line (I can't remember it exactly) was something like, 'I am getting weaker and there are soldiers in the streets, but they aren't helping.'

The next one from another friend in New Orleans saying much the same thing but also adding that I should stay away unless I too wanted to get sick.

One more from a guy in Idaho claiming the same illness struck his town, the soldiers were there, but they were breaking into homes, dragging out the ill and SHOOTING them in the streets!

As I read this last one, Nanny Joe somehow broke into the screen with a plaintive (you can only do that in a dream, get that plaintive voice through writing, can't you?) saying that she could hear the soldiers at her door and she was too weak to fight them, for me to get help.

What do you all think THAT meant? I know I have a 'Knight in Shining Armor' complex, but this felt like something, uhhh, different. Was it one of my 'warning' dreams? I couldn't tell you since I actually don't believe there is some illness that requires KILLING patients in the streets! Or in their homes, for that matter. And I haven't seen 'Outbreak' in a few years (in fact, hadn't thought about it until this very moment).

Ahhh well, welcome to MY 'morbid, twisted odd AND strange' dream life.

I don't remember my dreams all that often anymore. The few I do remember these days are usually nothing special.

Now, when I was younger, I do remember some troubling dreams that seemed like warnings. Maybe they were, who can say.

As for dreams I had that came true, the most vivid one was when I dreamed I was with a woman walking towards a mailbox. I could see everything around me except the woman's face. I could see the trees to the left and across the street and the gravel road I was walking on, and a weeping willow tree to the right. But the woman's face remained hidden by shadows.

When I woke up I had thought that I was dreaming about a girl named Connie (no, not the Connie who I used to see several years back - this was long before that Connie). Well, that friendship never developed into anything and I pretty much forgot about the dream I had had.

About a year and a half later I was married to my ex-wife and we were walking to the mailbox when I was hit by a powerful sense of deja vu. Everything around me matched that dream I had had. Only this time I was able to see the woman’s face, with no shadows at all. As I stood there, the willow tree was to my right, the mailbox was in front of me, my wife at my left side, as she was in the dream, and the other trees were all there. When I had had that dream Lisa was no one special to me. I barely knew her, if I had known her at all then.

Anyway, some dreams do seem to match what will happen in reality... but who is to say if it was just random chance that one of my dreams matched a future reality, or if it was truly a glimpse of the future.

Now, there are other times I may have dreamed things that might have come true. at least to some extent, but nothing as clear to me as that one was.

Fortunately, none of my apocalyptic dreams have come true... at least not yet.

But, in the time period that I dreamed about the woman whose face I could not see, I also dream of myself as a very old man in a dead forest on a dieing Earth. I was with two other people, younger than I am, in the dream. I knew the land I walked but it looked different than I remembered it, the land once belonged to my aunt and uncle... back when they still owned that land (now they do not) I am more than 20 years older than when I had that dream but I still have a log time to wait to find out if that dream is to comes true.

One more thing about that second dream... in that dream I find something I had been looking for, a silver cylinder (origins untold in the dream) that contains the secret of immortality and restoring life to the Earth. Okay, a bit far fetch to be true but who can say what might come true someday.

If it helps any.... I'm fine.  And I hope that you know you can give a yell to ME anytime and I will do what I can to help.  Even knights need help once in a while, too, you know

You know, speaking to my 'massive pandemic' dream, do you thin this Swine Flu was what that dream was talking about? LOL, yeah, I don't either, just thought I would toss it out there!  (and thus is how Nostradamus became so 'prophetic', eh?
