I have just 'discovered' Dark Angel. I am very impressed with the premise, however, I just do not understand all of it. An EMP knocked out the area around Seattle? But the rest of the country is alright? That and they want us to believe in the future (2029) the prisons will have both men AND women in the SAME cells/areas and there AREN'T mass riots? Did this large EMP burst also 'damage' how people act in captivity? Remember, this is NOT a future centuries hence, it is LESS than 50 years from now, therefore, those SAME 'bad guys' are still there!

Seriously though, I am enjoying it alot. Though I still wish they could have put it on another night and left SG-1 there, but I understand the whole ratings game, I guess.

Actually, I am watching this show and I realize something. . . I really don't like the attitude of the lead actress. It is getting old and this is only the third episode!  Ah well, so much promise. At least Dead Like Me is showing!

I had never seen this show before and started watching it the other night on SciFi.  I didn't see all of the episodes, but from what I saw it was okay.... something to watch when there wasn't anything else on.

From what I've heard, part or all of the failure of this show was the difference between seasons one and two... that some LOVED the first season but said that it really went downhill for number two.

I thought Jessica Alba did a great job with Max, but like I said I only saw two or three episodes, so maybe she didn't have a chance to get on my nerves yet.   I did like the wheel chair bound Michael Weatherly as Logan... geeky and  cute... okay...very cute... guy battling the bad guys with his computer/stuff.

I missed the mini marathon THIS week, so I guess I wasn't THAT impressed... lol

You know, NJ, I really am trying to like this as much as I did the two hour pilot, but alas, I am being consistently UNDERwhelmed by how this story is going! Though, because I am a bit hard-headed (ask my wife, SHE'LL tell you) I keep hoping, knowing it won't get better. But, I am that guy that watches 'A Perfect Storm' and keeps getting mad that that ship didn't survive when they appeared to be almost through but instead turned around and went back in! Sure, I realize that after their radio was damaged, nobody knows how long they actually survived, I know it, I still get riled that that captain didn't keep trying, keep pushing forward. Call me a romantic (been called worse), but I keep watching, hoping for a different outcome.

Now, back to DA, I have saved the series as they are being shown. I am doubting that I will wacth very many more, no, I doubt my wife will watch very many more, I will probably hold out and watch all of them (I am not a quitter, thus I still smoke.).

Ahh well, time will tell, time will tell.

Just to update: Still watching DA religiously! Gotta say, Joshua always breaks my heart to see him try to fit in!

Never seen the show... but I know this problem of trying to fit in.
