So, as I SHOULD be graduating this September, I am NOW reflecting on whether or not I should;
  1. Go for a doctorate in Human Resource Management
  2. Get a job as a hired gun for a small concern wither in this country or abroad!!!
  3. Get a job in Human Resouce management
  4. Try for a completely un-related field like
    1. Criminal Justice
    2. Health Care Management (either a BA or MBA)
    3. MBA in Information Technology
    4. MSM (Masters in Business Management) in Business management AND add on the dual degree of MSM in Project management!
  5. Get a job and pay off this school loan!!!!
 Really, I have time to decide, but ANY suggestions will be looked at with an open mind!

I say keep a close eye on the business world in general. Watch out for any trend in down-sizing. Then go for a field where most of the jobs are. At least that is what I'd do, but I admit I'm influenced by current events on my local school system.

Also keep in mind that today's hot jobs are just as likely as not to be shipped over seas.

Ten years ago a computer tech job was a good paying and promising career here in the US. Now it pays diddlysquat because all the tech jobs were sent overseas for pennies on the dollar of what would be a livable wage here.

Unless you are a burger and fries cook, or any of the usually low paying jobs where a person actually has to be local, your job may not be safe.

Pray and do what you think will make you the happiest.

We all know that there are NO guaranties anymore to find that "perfect career" that will make you millions.  Just remember that, whatever your choice, you have to wake up every morning ready and willing to do it.  I pitty some of the people I know who absolutely HATE what they do and only continue because of the money.  What a HORRIBLE way to spend your precious moments of lifetime.

Follow your heart and NOT your head and the decision will be the right one for you.
